There are 4 possible moves per turn, with each move either moving the entire piece or the entire column, row or box. The game ends when the last element of the puzzle has been moved. The player then receives a score based on the difficulty of the puzzle.

If the player cannot move a piece, they may use a hint. The hint can be used to move a single element, so it is possible to use a hint to move an element to a different column, row or box.
